November 20th. I'm Liz Evans and I will never look at myself in the mirror the same way again. I wonder what Max will say? Will he be excited?

   Liz and Max have definitely been enjoying their new life together. Zan has been doing well in school; he really is a smart child and very creative. It must be because Max is also very smart; Zan might not be an alien but he did get the human part of his father and that includes being smart. Being around Liz and talking to her also helps him a lot.

   This morning Liz found out something very important that will change their small family forever. It's good news of course.
She decided to tell Max first and waited until Zan had gone off to school.

   "I'm pregnant! I'm very excited but I wanted to tell you first because I'm worried it might be a bit too soon. We just brought Zan to live with us, I don't want him to think we're not happy to have him."
Max of course thought it was great news and told her they'll make sure Zan won't feel that way. As soon as he gets home they plan on telling him about the new addition to the family.

   "Zan, you are my first son and you know we both love you. We are very proud of you and we are very happy to have you living with us. Nothing will ever change that."

   "Your father and I just found out this morning and now we want to share it with you. You're going to be a big brother!"
Zan seemed excited and Max thought he had taken it better than he'd expected.

   As the boys in the house went to sleep, Liz went downstairs for a glass of juice; being pregnant did make her hungry all the time. She couldn't help but remember back to that day in her house when future Max came to warn her about the future. How different would things have been if she hadn't listened to him? For one, Zan wouldn't be here today; he wouldn't even exist. Future Max hadn't mentioned kids and it was the end of the world, so this new baby would never be born either. But what about Alex? Would he have still died or would their friend be with Isabel right now? So many different outcomes, sometimes thinking about what could have been brought sad feelings back. Then again, maybe it was her hormones that had her reminiscing.
