The Evans backstory

(Hi. I'm a fan of Roswell and this particular story is sort of a fanfic.
Roswell is a series of 3 seasons from 1999-2002 and it was a story about aliens living on Earth during their teenage years. I'm going to include a bit of information and spoilers from all three seasons so you understand where the Evans come from in case you didn't watch the series.)

     "September 23rd. Journal entry one. I'm Liz Parker and five days ago I died. After that, things got really weird..."

     Roswell, New Mexico

     We have best friends Alex Whitman, Maria DeLuca and Liz Parker. Normal humans surviving through high school.

     We have the three aliens -- Isabel Evans, Michael Guerin and Max Evans.

     There was a crash in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico and the little aliens were in some sort of incubation pods.
     "we know we came out of the pods in 1989. We just don't know how long we were there. When we came out we looked like 6 year olds."
     Isabel and Max -- brother and sister -- were adopted by the Evans while Michael was in a foster home for years with a man who only wanted him for the check. No one besides the three of them -- they got reunited in school after knowing they were different from everybody else -- knows their true identities.

     It all starts when Liz gets shot and Max heals her. Since she now knows about him, she has to keep it to herself.
     "You broke a bottle when you fell, spilled ketchup on yourself. Don't say anything please."
     She later finds out about Michael and Isabel and she tells them Maria knows too. The five of them have to come up with a plan to get the cops off their case and learn to become friends or at least tolerate each other.

   Liz's grandma -- Claudia -- has a stroke and Liz asks Max to heal her but he can't.
   "I can't stop, you know what's going to happen, but maybe I can help you say goodbye."
Liz's grandma dies.

     Soon after, they learn it's not just the cop who is after them but a special unit has proof and wants to catch them.
They let Alex in on their secret so he can help them undercover the agent that has come to work as the student counselor. Meanwhile Max and Liz know they love each other but it's dangerous for an alien and a human to be together -- they don't know what could happen -- and they keep trying to stay away from each other.
Michael is a tough guy and he doesn't let Maria get too close.

     The guys find out there was an alien in the late 50s killing people and they think he's related to them, so now they're looking everywhere and hope they find him soon. After Isabel finds out that Michael's foster father beat him up again, she tells him her dad -- a lawyer -- can help him file a petition for emancipation. Now that he lives on his own he has more time to look for the other alien -- he might even be his real father.
     "Isabel, he sent us a signal. We gotta send him one back. This is how we're gonna find him."
     They finally figure out how to leave him a signal and they only have to hope it worked and he comes find them.

     A new girl -- Tess Harding -- shows up in school and befriends Isabel.

     She soon introduces them to the group but they all stay alert because they still don't know her.
     "It's about Tess, Isabel's friend. I'm having these daydreams about her."

     Tess turns out to be the fourth alien -- there were four incubation pods, she was taken by Nasedo, one of the older aliens that came with them, not their father -- and tells them about their destiny and all she has learned about their planet -- Antar.
     "My son, you were the beloved leader of our people. I have sent with you your young bride. My daughter, the man you were betrothed to, and your brother's second-in-command."
Max being the leader, Tess his bride, Isabel his sister and Michael his second in command.

   Throughout the seasons their enemies come to find them and the cop ends up becoming their friend and helping them escape after Max heals his son. Max and Liz get together and break up until she has to make him fall in love with Tess to save the planet in the future. Tess is there to comfort Max, they sleep together and she gets pregnant.
Isabel falls in love with Alex and he later dies in a very odd car accident but Liz figures out that Tess killed him while trying to decode a book with information from their planet
   "If there is anything any of us should have learned over the last year and a half it's that nothing is ever what it seems."
Tess has to leave to save their son and they get her to go to Antar. The others decide to stay and live their human lives with their friends and family.

   Months pass and Isabel meets a man and marries him, he later finds out about them and has to keep the secret as well.
Liz starts experiencing some changes
   "What makes me different from everybody else is the fact that I was brought back from the dead by an alien."
   "You healed me and now I'm different."
She later gets over them and they finally start to have a normal life until Tess comes back from Antar with baby Zan -- Max's real name -- because he's completely human and they wouldn't accept him.
   "Well, he is your son, and that is your real name."
Everyone rejects her and wants her to turn herself to the FBI that has been looking for her since she crashed coming back. In the end she does and gets killed and Max gives baby Zan up for adoption.
   "Maybe if things were different... Maybe in the future there will be a way..."

   Max and Liz get back together but Michael and Maria keep having problems. The FBI finds them again and is ready to catch them but they escape, they leave Roswell along with the cop's son. Isabel leaves her husband behind so he can live a normal life. Liz and Max get married on the way out of Roswell.
   "So that's the end. Our life in Roswell. What a long strange trip it's been. Will we ever go back? ...I don't know... Even I can't see everything in the future."
